Undergraduate students get the chance to work on a chemistry-related research project with a mentor as part of the REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) summer research programs. This is a comprehensive list of REU programs open for the summer of 2023. These events take place in universities and research organizations all around the country and are often supported by the National Science Foundation. A stipend, housing assistance, and travel expenses are provided to participants in chemistry REUs. Participants are frequently able to present their research at conferences and publish their findings in scholarly publications.
